San Luis, Colorado has amazing historical sites as well as all the modern conveniences for visitors:

You will find at least two excellent restaurants for breakfast or lunch, a place for great traditional Mexican dinner and even a pizza parlor. San Luis also has a bank next to the Museum & Cultural Center. There is also two gas stations in town to fill up before exploring the area.

For fishing & picnicking, Sanchez Reservoir is only about 10 minutes Southeast of town and is a state wildlife area nestled next to the mountains.

The Melby Ranch Centennial High School Scholarship Fund

The philosophy of Melby Ranch Properties supports the idea that education is one of the most important tools to furthering one's self in our world. As a result of sharing that philosophy with others, the Melby Ranch Centennial High School Scholarship Fund was initiated. The scholarship is supported by many people, and is growing on a daily basis. Contributions have been made by local community supporters, businesses and land owners in the San Luis Valley.

Begun in 2000, the Melby Ranch Centennial High School Scholarship Fund has provided funds for advanced education. In May, 11 scholarships were awarded. Additionally, four computer systems were provided to students for their college education.

The San Luis Santa Ana y Santiago Days

Melby Ranch Properties supports the San Luis Santa Ana y Santiago Celebration. Our land owners have wonderful opportunity to become part of our Valley family.

The last weekend in July, San Luis, CO, holds their annual Santa Ana y Santiago Celebration. In community spirit, Melby Ranch Properties contributed to businesses in an effort to participate in preparation of the celebration.
